This website provides details about Staffordshire County Council's proposal to build an Energy from Waste (EfW) facility at the Four Ashes Industrial estate.

In May 2008 Staffordshire County Council applied for planning permission to build this facility to treat household waste and generate energy in the form of electricity and potentially heat. In November 2008 planning permission was approved.

We realise that if you live near the facility you will have concerns. We want to answer your questions. This website provides answers to some preliminary questions and will be frequently updated with information.
